Archery at the Nadaam Festival

Naadam Festival: This world famous, spectacular
festival is every year from July 11th & July 12th in
and around Ulaanbaatar. It is originated many centuries
ago as a test of courage, strength, daring and
horsemanship - all necessary for a nomadic people.
Today it is hold as sport competitions in the main Mongolian
sport like Mongolian wrestling, horse races, bow and arrow
competition, games and also as public festival with
folk dances ecetera. It is a national holiday!
